Charles Murdoch caught the attention of the Future Classic in 2013 with his remix for Flume’s ‘Sleepless’ for Beatport’s remix comp. Already having success in Mitzi, the four piece Brisbane indie dance 4-piece, Charles Murdoch’s solo work exhibits his masterful knack for sophisticated, cerebral bass and house music.

In 2013 Charles Murdoch began playing live and has already played at sold-out shows alongside Nicolas Jaar at Sydney Festival at Town Hall, Shlohmo’s headline Sydney show at the Civic Underground, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs’ show in Brisbane, as well as playing alongside Lapalux and Cashmere Cat at the Future Classic x Vivid Festival show at Sydney Opera House.

Charles Murdoch will release his debut album ‘Point’ in late 2015. The first single, ‘Straws’ was release in June with an official music video clip directed by Faraz Shariat.
