Hayden James

Hayden James is a singer/songwriter and producer from Sydney, Australia. He makes music with organs, noisy synthesisers and guitars. This, being Hayden’s first solo project, has given him the freedom to create music that resonates on a very personal level.

His first single ‘Permission To Love’ was released in June 2013 with remixes from label mates Touch Sensitive and Charles Murdoch. It was the #1 Most Blogged track on the Hype Machine upon release. Since then Hayden James has played a slew of shows including a spot at Splendour In The Grass and headed to the USA to support Odesza on their national tour. In August 2013, Hayden James released his debut self-titled EP.

As part of Future Classic’s ‘Teen Idols’ end-of-year compilation, Hayden James put out his infectious summer anthem ‘Something About You’. It has quickly amassed to 4.4 million SoundCloud plays and projected Hayden to tour across Australia, Europe and the Americas. The track was given an official release in 2015 followed by an exciting remix package with ODESZA, Ben Pearce, Charles Webster and Just Kiddin.
